Ah, you have been getting a little too serious 'round here lately. I thought it was time to interject some humor... at your expense of course.
DontchajustLOVEme??
DALE!!! Three weeks before your son's birthday? Naughty, NAUGHTY BOY!!!
I guess you just squeaked that one in under the wire. 'Must've made for an interesting honeymoon?

Who me? It was one of those things; we met in January when we were both 35 (neither having been married before), started dating in March, got pregnant in May, got married in January and became parents in February. Heck of a year.

Geez, don't know how I got roped into this discussion.
Richard, thanks for thinking of me and Kristal thanks for being such a good sport about this. I'm delighted to say that my wife and I are happily married and recently had our seventeenth wedding anniversary; three weeks before our son had his seventeenth birthday.

As he indicated, Dale has a problem with the "Butt Dyno." That is, someone that has modified their car for either performance or economy and feel that the improvement actually worked but has not been scientifically verified.
For what it's worth, I agree with him on many of his points, but mine is based solely on personal experience. When I got into cars, it was all rial and error and few if any scientific tools to verify a single persons' findings.
We raced, and if our car felt faster, was faster (by means of winning a race we would'veost before) then we assumed that what we had tried worked!! And if it didn't, we went back to the drawing board to try something else.
Basically that's the story behind the scenes.
He is so passionate about his stand that I thought it might be time to lighten to mood a bit. I know from other communications that Dale DOES have a sense of humor, so I was pretty sure he would take my ribbing in the spirit to which I had intended.
