Cool Help needed with a Turbocharger

Hey guys. I have another forum going on under Mazda6 vehicles about performance upgrades for my vehicle.

I've got a 2005 Mazda 6i 5-speed manual. I have to replace the motor, and considering adding a turbocharger also. looking for anyone to help me out with recommendations on what kind to get? maybe a kit that comes with is all? how the whole installation procedure works? if i can install the turbo after the engine is put in? Anything would be helpful. THANKS

Having almost the same problem except i already got a turbo kit and cant find anything to help me with installing it. Have you just looked around for how to's already on the turbo? and in my opinion the best thing to do is just order a full universal kit on ebay and then just go and buy a name brand turbo like turbonetics you will save alot of money thats what i have done.

Recommendations:
1) you will need to re-program the ecu
2) Higher voltage ignition coils
3) Cooler spark plugs with smaller gap as turbo vehicles can blow out spark (research)
4) external tranny cooler as tranny will have extra load
