I disagree about the 2010 Mustang on that list as well. I like the updated styling. (Especially in GT500 trim.)

SEE?? I KNEW I wasn't completely CrAzY.

I admit I wasn't a fan of the 2010 Mustang taillights, but they've grown on me. It looks especially sweet in Shelby GT500 trim.

And tracker.....SHO 0-60 is in the low 5 second range with the 1/4 mile in high 13's.....that's slow - especially for a 4300lb car? The SHO is definitely a luxury car...the content and the price show that. Yes it's a new market for the Taurus (known forever as a rental fleet car) but this new one does the job well. I have a feeling your buddy that drove the SHO is coming from a Honda. Just a hunch.
The Smart car is pointless - as stated earlier there are bigger cars that get better mileage that don't look like an oversized roller-skate. (The Chevy Aveo is the same way - even the Cobalt gets better mileage.) Or even the Honda Fit which gets worse mileage than a Focus....I can't wait for the Fiesta to get here in the States.

Nice to have you back, Scott. We needed someone to defend Fords good name. And who would better than you, except maybe Vince who's been on the Focus soapbox for a while now?
Will we ever get the Euro version here in NA?

And I have been pining over the 911 since before there was a GT or Turbo version of it. I would have even taken a 912 (4-cyl version) if that's all I could have gotten. There's just something beautifully European about them.

If the Smart was less expensive, a little more practical, had a better trans and was more stable it might be OK. But given all those issues.....

And truthfully, I love the way that the New Mustang front end looks, it is the rear I am not crazy about.

In da' firzt plaze, NICE, Ken!! We like your F series Ken. I hope you know that it is universally liked here. That is a particularly good picture of her too. I like the pic as much as I like the truck.
In da' seconzd plaze, I only said "Vince" because he has been more vocal than you have about Fords lately (though I am waiting for him to trounce me for my grammar on the subject.)
And tird of all, I was trying to welcome Scott back after a long, and missed (on my part at least,) absence.

Now.... why the dream catcher on the rear view?

When the last facelift of the Mustang rolled out, I said to myslef, "YES!! They have it and are on the right track."
This new one seems like an unwelcomed departure to me. Like they are trying to make it look like a new Camaro or Challenger, neither of which I personally am impressed by.

I DO love Top Gear. Even my wife loves Top Gear, but ya' lost me, Cameron.

Was this post intended to be put in the Top Gear Discussion thread, or am I missing something?
If so, do I have your permission to put it in Top Gear?

it was on the previous page and I posted my comment without realizing that it was going to be on a different page. The quote was added afterward so that my comment would be less random. But sure you can put it in the Top Gear thread.

Yeah, you've gone and lost it. It was from a post of mine on the previous page, after ya'll introduced that Porche 911...and they all look like Beetles.

Btw, your package should arrive Tuesday or so.

I was wondering about that. I looked for them yesterday. 'Thought maybe it got lost in the snail-mail. I'm looking forward to hearing what ya' burned.

On the subject of the former: Gimme a break!
A long two weeks @ work for inventory and the prep preceding it. Before that, the burglary (still looking for my guitars every day.) The wife's tree/ladder/hospital mishap before that, 3 kids and a stepdaughter here for nearly 3 weeks during the hottest time of the summer (translation: In the house and under foot most of the time,) the stolen lawn tractor, and on and on.... It has been a bad, BAD year in my life.
The best thing to happen to me so far is that I finally got my HID's installed.... then got burgled right after.
I'm gettin' too old for this sh*t.

What I think should be added to the list are every single model there is of Toyota and Honda. I hate to say this, but I am seeing the downfall of Toyota and Honda for the next decade if they don't get their act together soon. They both sure are losing touch with their car design, nothing but fugly cars and SUV coming out from them these days.

I have to agree w/the Mustang statement. It's a facelift more than a total redesign and I liked the last gen Stang style.

It seems the trend in automotive design these days is to be trendy, and to be trendy you have to produce something that stands out. Ugly Betty stand out. I thinks it's automotive guilt, myself.

Now, getting back to that Aztek: I saw another one in our parking lot yesterday on my way to anther store. When I went around the corner I thought I saw another one on the other side!!! It turned out to be the back end of a BMW X3 I was seeing.
I guess I never noticed how much the back of the X3 resembles the Aztek. Coincidence? Take a look next time you see one.

You have never stopped in a rest area to catch a few ZZZ's on a long trip, what better place to have a bad dream

As for the Ford debate, My Mazda 3 has FoMoCo Stamped on just as many if not more parts than my F-150, in fact when the Upper Bushing came apart when I was lowering it I got the replacement from Ford off of the Part #.

BTW Rich, that shot will be in a Calendar for 2010 on Virtual Ford, as well as this 1 of the MZ3
