Default Leasing?

Well, I got a great year for my Mazda3 when I leased it.
However, how many of you know about how many mods can be done when leased? Do genuine Mazda parts have to be used?

I wouldnt make any permanent mods that you cant take off. If you like the car and plan to buy it at the end of he lease term...do what ever you want to do. OEM parts do not have to be used. When you turn the car back in it is treated like trade-in.

I would'nt pour money into a lease at all. Buy used and get to own it, then sell and buy new with a bug D.P. later on in life.

Thanks,

The only reason I leased was because of the extremely low % rate.
Sure makes it worth it.

like bkay 71 already mentioned, if you are planning to keep the 3 after the lease then go ahead and do what ever you want. However, if you are planning to turn the car in do not do anything that can not be reversed. If you are not sure at this point then I would leave it as is. I leased my Cherokee and knew from day one that I was going to purchase it at the end so I started to do some mods but, even then nothing that I could not reverse. My reason for this was the fact it was a four year lease and you never know if or when the vehicle will decide to be a PIA in which case you may want to abandon it. The Jeep turned out to be trouble free so buying it was a no brainer.
