MSP Accident: A Fellow Moderator on 24/7
Cindy, RUSH by screen name, is a long-standing fellow Moderator, and a well liked and respected one too on www.Mazdas247.com. Shegot into an accident with her "03.5 MSP 2 days ago on the PA Turnpike.
According to her, she was on theTurnpike going home to Elizabethtown, Pa. when the *PENN-DOT* plow in front of her suddenly turned on the salt spreaders, blinding her. She first hit the inner guardrail with the front end, and spun across coming to rest, back end against the opposite guardrail. She is OK, but needless to say she is devastated.
She is also worried that she will lose her Moderatorship on 24/7. As the staff rules there state, no Mazda, no Moderator. Though I"m sure something can/will be worked out to keep her.
The other Mods, me included, are offering their support to keep her as a Moderator and where she is now.
She is receiving a lot of member support on 24/7 and Tri-State Tuners site also. If any of you are members on either of those sites (or if you"d like to sign up,) please stop by and offer your help, suggestions and support also.
Thanks.

RE: MSP Accident: A Fellow Moderator on 24/7
As a salvage only. She"s posted that the insurance co is writing it off as a loss. She is currently planning to buy it back, if for nothing else just to salvage (no pun intended) her Mods and other usable parts. Of course this is all preliminary and contingent on how much they will want for it, storage, etc....
Besides, from that picture alone, it appears the subframe has been pushed back. Even if they pulled and reinforced it, the car would never be the same again.
Here"s what it looked like in a before picture. Many members on 24/7 say it was one of their favorite MSP"s there:
