My tires show 44 PSI as the max. I ask the same Q as VB ... what is the ben of more PSI in front versus rear? Overall, more PSI = less rolling resistance. But beyond a certain point, handling/grip is sacrificed. Real question is: What is the optimum PSI?

Typically the weight distribution is more biased towards the front as well. (engine) More weight on the front tires means you need more air pressure in them to accommodate the added weight being applied. This ensures the tiresflex/performconsistently front/rear.
I would think a vehicle with perfect 50/50 weight distribution would want even tire pressure all around.
