Road trips! Yay!
How long is the farthest road trip you've taken?
I get to take 2 this week! My first will be tomorrow to Valdosta GA to visit some friends, then back to Atlanta to visit more friends, then back up to NC where I catch a flight on thursday and drive my mx3 from WA to NC... yay! I love road trips but I always seem to run out of road... or leave.

I've gone from here in Atlanta to Northern Pensyllvania (I just know I mispelled that, I always butcher that state's name). I've never driven a roadtrip though, I just got my lisence recently. Although me and my friends want to do one in a year or so somewhere West.

I've driven cross country more in the last 3 years than all the other road trips I've ever taken... 3002 miles one way is good enough for me. Though I do want to drive up to Canada some time.

My fiance and I drove to Florida a couple years ago for a vacation with his parents (they flew). The trip down was fun, but Orlando kinda sucks when it is raining. 24 hours in a car is one thing, but 24 hours in a car, then a week stuck inside, and then 24 more hours in a car....kinda wears on your nerves.

I have never left the North East except for NY. ha ha, My family owns a house on Nantucket Island so thats where we always are on vacation. But this weekend I am driving up to NH for a booze fest...A few friends rented out a condo. So free vaca? I am in...Plus I am good friends with my manager, so if I invite him, we both arent on the scheduale...ha ha

i've gone from pittsburgh, pa to orlando, florida..... 24 hours
its very convenient to fly but i like the experience of trading drivers every couple of hours... its fun and you don't get bored if you have the right group of entertaining people with you.

I've been all over the U.S. in a period of 6 months as a semi truck driver (now local)
longest trip was gone 14 days : Montreal .... cross country Canada to Vancouver B.C. (wow) .. and continued on to Yuma Arizona (right on the edge of Mexico where the air force base) ... then back up to Montreal .
Was doing a lot of California 95% of the time , once in Florida , Washington once to go get Granny Smith apples , drove over the Hoover Dam in the rig , Las Vegas , Grand Canyon , Utah , etc.
In Tampa Florida we got there at 3a.m. no place to park a 53' footer with sleeper , then I found a marina where they unload boats , perfect ! 5 minute walk from the Gulf of Mexico , the beach you could here people once in a while saying 'You seen that huge rig over there !' that place was tight for anyone living there ! That was Christmas '98
Picked up my Cobra in Atlanta Georgia , drove it up to Pennsylvania for the NMRA Mustang CarShow/Drag as a participant , slept on leather in the car , and bonded with it all the way up to Montreal Best ride /feeling of my life !!!
