snow+3= blah
so every time it has snowed this year i have had the 3 sliding all over the place and the breaks locking up not by choice. I am an expericened driver i have been driving for 10 years. I used to have a civic she was awesome in the snow. So this weekend im gonna go see what i can get for a trade in value. I love my mazda but it sux in the snow, better tires would help. I am just not happy with it in the snow.

The stock tires suck in the snow...Put some snow tires on your stock wheels and get some nice summer wheels. It makes all the difference in the world..(I prefer Dunlop Wintersport M3's) Don't get rid of your car because of the tires. (that's like chopping off your arm because you have a hang-nail.)
I've actually got Toyo Proxes FZ4's on my car right now and they are decent in the snow. (Much better than the stock tires)

Yeah i know..... its just i was so used to my Honda in the snow.... nothing like the 3. The only suckie thing is the tires on the 3 are perfectly fine have plenty of tread left. Would like to get some all weather tires cannot affored them right now. I would like to get summer rims but i own a condo and need to put the extra money i have into that and not my 3.That is the whole reason i got rid of my civic. But yeah you are right gitting rid of it cause of the tires is dumb. It just pissed me off this morning in the snow put me in a crappy mood thank god their wasn't a car coming when my car decided not to stop

I think i have decided to get some kinda of all season tire. Don't get enough snow in MD to get snow tires. Enough to make it difficult though. Our winters here are very unperdicatble(sp). Up until the beginning of jan it was getting close to the 70's, now its barley getting in the 20's. So if anyone has any suggestions on some kind of all season tires throw them my way

My Toyo Proxes FZ4's (although not rated all season) seem to do quite well in the snow...It's a directional tread and doesn't seem to pack up with snow. I got 46,000 miles out of them (if it had been summer, I would have run them longer, but I needed the tread depth)
I'm a National Ski Patroller and I drive in the snow quite a bit in Northern Michigan.
