Velocity Tuner?

Any body heard of this? Susposed to save up to 31% on gas, and can increase up to 16% more horsepower?

The Velocity Tuner swirls the air in the intake tube.

Its been a while since I heard of it.

Any body know any thing on it?

I really don't see how it can do much of anything. Especiaaly if the air has to go around bends and the "accordian" style hose. Maybe if the device was directly in line with the throttle body with a smooth intake hose. I have seen these made under many different names. If it was that great, don't you think manufacturers would be using them on new cars?? They could get more power and MPG if the claims were true.

my dad purchased one for his 05 Chevy Silverado, it was call The Tornado, they all claim to work the same way. it actually made his gas mileage worse, and he lost power on the bottom end. Swirling air does not improve hp, if it did, the manufacturer would use them stock, or they would buy all those things from the makers so that normal consumers would not use them.
