thats for sure, it was very fast. I am not looking to go that fast, but mine should be in 60-70mph range, hopefully, if geared correctly and with the right battery setup

I would hate to see all that time and effort put into that little rc car to just be wiped out in a huge wipeout...

the thing with the cars is, if you wreck really badly, you can re-build it, that is not always the case with a real car. an rc car is not just "totalled" by the insurance company, most of the time alot of the parts are re-usable, and the replacement parts are not greatly expensive. yeah its bad to wreck one after putting all that time into it, but you just build it again and go out and race some more. oh, and the cars are getting to 60mph in like 2-3 seconds, same as a motorcycle or supercar, so it could possibly beat a car down a 1/4 mile track.

ive always been amazed by gasoline RC cars!

i, too, have some hobbies...they are:

-Music
-Percussion (will be minoring in at U of New Haven, starting Fall 2006)
-Recording Engineering (will be my major at U of New Haven, starting Fall 2006)
-Piano
-Guitar (i try)
-Bass Guitar (i try)
-Singing
-occasionally i pick up my old trombone
-id like to learn to play the accordian
-Collecting/Listening (most any genre)
-Attending shows
-Playing with a band called 'Lupae'

-Automobiles
-Mazda Axela
-Autocrossing

-Photography
-Attended photography school my senior year in high school
